I really enjoyed my visit to Lancaster. It was good to see so many people had arrived to see my talk but I wasn’t expecting to meet visitors from the international deaf community. After my presentation, I met up with the people who came along to the event. I always enjoy meeting new people but it was really great to catch up with school friends from my days at Boston Spa. I hadn’t seen them since 1975! Thank you to everyone involved in organising such a successful event.
